Jen Estill, Owner, Creative Director of Redhead
With a B.A. in Journalism from Michigan State University, and over 12 years of experience in marketing and communications, Jennifer combines creativity with real-world sensibilities. She's been a journalist, an art director, an editor, a marketer—and the variety of experiences has enabled her to solve almost any communications problem. "I tend to look at a design challenge from lots of angles. How does the copy flow? What will the end-user think? How should this feel?" says Jennifer.
Jennifer has served a variety of clients in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. Clients such as Ingham Intermediate School District, Governor's Council on Physical Fitness, Michigan State University Extension, Lansing State Journal, A Piece O' Cake bakery and the Fitness Council of Jackson have all relied on Jennifer to bring their creativity up a notch. She especially enjoys challenges posed by entrepreneurial businesses, and those in the education realm.
She is a mother of three (all boys!) and an avid volunteer. She currently serves as chair of the board for Educational Child Care Center, one of Lansing's premier preschools and childcare centers. She also sits on the board for the Old Town Commercial Association. In 2007, Jennifer was named one of "10 Over the Next 10"— young business people who not only excel in their fields, but who are also involved in their community and invested in mid-Michigan's revitalization. The award program is a joint effort by the Lansing Area Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Lansing Business Monthly, and Grand River Connection.
